What is Blend?

Blend Lending is an online lending software with a focus on a smooth customer experience. They offer mortgage services, consumer banking, loan services, and many other tools. It essentially brings all the banking information a company would need into one place. Blend is adaptable to new technology, so your team can stay streamlined and up to date on every financial tool available.

Trusted institutions like Wells Fargo and US Bank also use Blend to connect with customers and streamline their banking processes.

Why Are Advertisements Needed?

The goal of these advertisements is to increase awareness for Blend Lending and drive customers to their website. Blend has a solid financial base; they have over $660 million in funding, have recently acquired Title365 for $400 million, and have a valuation of 3.66 billion.

However, on Crunchbase, I see that they only have around 50,000 monthly visitors to their website. Compare this with MeridianLink's 200,000 visitors and LendingTree's whopping 11 million visitors, and you can start to see that Blend Lending needs some traffic on their site.

I will use my ads to drive potential customers directly to this website. The website itself is very well designed and user-friendly; I believe that the most value I could provide would be getting customers there in the first place.

Why LinkedIn?

These advertisements will be targeted at a more professional audience. They will also be a little more "text-heavy". Because of these reasons, I chose LinkedIn to host my ads. LinkedIn is used as a professional network, so expecting a professional audience is appropriate. People on LinkedIn are more likely to read an advertisement, as reading something is the primary reason for traveling to the site (as opposed to something like Facebook).

Goal: cast a wide net

This ad is designed to appeal to a wide audience of consumers. "Simplified banking for everyone" is an easily understood and positive header.

Whether you're managing a Fortune 500 company or just applying for a mortgage, Blend can help.

This follows the theme of reaching a diverse audience. Hopefully, regardless of the situation of the consumer, the information can be applied to them.

Blend's cloud-based platform powers end-to-end customer journeys for any banking product.

This line gives more information on what Blend is. Blend's website repeats this same tagline, so it is a good line to promote and spread. The idea here is that the customer sees the first paragraph, thinks it applies to them, but wonders what Blend does or is. This sentence gives a succinct answer to that exact question.

Two buttons are then offered. These are the same buttons offered on Blend's landing page. Most customers will want to click "See how it works". Some might want to jump right into the product and request a demo. It doesn't matter which button the customer clicks; clicking anywhere on the ad takes you to blend.com. It is here that the customer can get the experience designed by Blend's website designers.
